Join the YPG as we conduct monthly mock interviews of the Daytona Downtown Streets Team members, held on the second Thursday of every month. The DDST is a transitional program through the Salvation Army that teaches homeless participants successful work habits they need to earn their way back into society. This is a great opportunity for you to practice your own interviewing skills, while giving some much appreciated interview tips.
The YPG's mock interview session will be at 12:30pm on Thursday, July 8th, at the Salvation Army on Ballough Rd. in Daytona Beach. All materials such as interview questions and suggested answers will be provided. Contact Sarah at Sarah.Berube@news-jrnl.com for more details and to sign up!
Come play in our double elimination 3 v 3 basketball tournament on July 10, 2010 at 3pm.
Tournament will be held in the Port Orange YMCA Gymnasium. Registration fee is $60 per team (18 yrs. old & up). Register by July 5th at the YMCA Membership Desk.
This Third Thursday Networking Social will be on Thursday July 15th at the Daytona Cubs for Thirsty Thursday Night out in the Budweiser Bullpen, located at 105 E Orange Ave on City Island in Daytona Beach.
The YPG Social will be held out in the Budweiser Bullpen area starting at 6pm. YPG Members and Non-Members will have to purchase a general admission ticket to the game for $7.00. Once inside the ballpark please make your way over to the bullpen area where there will be a YPG check-in table where YPG Members will receive a drink voucher and food voucher as part of their admittance to the ball park. Non-Members will receive the drink and food voucher for $5.00. We look forward to seeing everyone out at the Ball Park. Let's Go Cubs!!
For non-members who want to become YPG Members, admission to the event is always FREE if you sign up for membership at the door.
